June the genuis
Meet June! We are pleased to announce June will be joining out training program this year. She will be offered as a fully trained dog in the fall of 2023. After losing her beloved trick dog Kit this fall, our lead trainer, Elyzza really needed a pup to bring her spirits up. She fell in love with June and decided to hold her back to focus on this summer in memory of Kit.
A note from elyzza
"When June was born in November, I really needed something to bring my spirits up and my mom (Samantha) decided to let me take June as pick of the litter. Luckily, she is a genetic EXPERT. I knew how long she'd been working on the genetics for this litter and just how special they'd be. When June was first born, I knew there was something special about her. Although all the puppies were absolutely amazing, I knew who I would pick from the beginning. June stole my heart from day one. She is absolutely beautiful, from her soft brown eyes, to her silky curly coat, her deep tan points, and dark merle markings. She also has the temperament I look for when choosing a service dog or trick dog. She is playful, and outgoing, but also calm and gentle. Another quality I love about her temperament is how brave she is. Nothing really phases her. She also adores everyone and wants to be with humans 24/7. I am so excited to share our journey together and watch June progress."

Emmylou is one of Down Home's mommas. She has a sweet, gentle, and calm personality. She is a Standard Bernedoodle, but charts closer to the medium size. She is about 40Ibs. Emmyou passed all her health clearances with flying colors and she is CLEAR of all genetic diseases. To learn more about Emmylou, visit her page.

Sailor is one of Down Home's dads. His puppies are very trainable and learn quickly. He consistently throws calm, gentle, willing personalities. He weighs in at about 28Ibs. Sailor is CLEAR genetically and passed all his health testing. He has rare color and coat genetics. To learn more about Sailor, visit his page.
