Beth, our beloved AKC Registered Bernese Mountain Dog, plays a pivotal role in our breeding program. As the granddaughter of the esteemed AKC CHAMPION, Mr., and the daughter of our renowned MJ, she carries a prestigious lineage. Her mother, Princess, an AKC Bernese Mountain Dog, has earned an excellent rating for her hip from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. Beth boasts a sturdy build and the highly sought-after bear head feature. Her affectionate nature, love for belly scratches, and ever-present look of adoration make her a delight to be around. She loves to follow you and be pet. We are incredibly fortunate to have her as part of our breeding efforts. With genetic testing conducted by Animal Genetics, Beth is clear of common diseases in the Bernese breed. She resides in a guardian home, surrounded by some of her sisters and half-sisters, and is lovingly cared for by four small children.
Chelsea
Bernese Mountain Dog
Meet Chelsea, our exquisite Bernese Mountain Dog, Mama here at Down Home. Chelsea's lineage is truly remarkable. Her parents, Princess and MJ, come from distinguished bloodlines. MJ, the son of Mr., an esteemed AKC Champion, achieved his Championship title at a remarkable age of just 10 months. Now retired, Mr. is our cherished companion here at Down Home.
Inheriting many of his father's exceptional traits and conformation, MJ is a true representation of his breed. Princess, Chelsea's mother, is an extraordinary and nurturing mother, boasting excellent hip health certified by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals which is unheard of in this large breed.
When Princess and MJ were paired, they created the epitome of a Bernese Mountain Dog, our beloved Chelsea. With her genetic makeup being 100% clear, Chelsea embodies the best qualities of her lineage. Her disposition is simply wonderful, leaving us speechless.

Bailey

Bailey, our AKC registered Bernese Mountain Dog, a true gem in our breeding program. Residing on our guarding home’s sprawling Ohio farm, Bailey enjoys life surrounded by playful children and the beauty of nature.
Bailey is not only a stunning representation of her breed, but she is also completely genetically clear of common diseases that affect Bernese Mountain Dogs, ensuring a healthy future for her and her puppies. With her sweet, loving nature and watchful demeanor, she embodies the gentle spirit that this breed is known for.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have Ms. Bailey as part of our program. We look forward to sharing her legacy with future generations of Bernedoodles!
Daisey
Bernese Mountain Dog
Daisey is one of our beautiful Bernese mamas, living in a guardian home on a farm in Ohio with four young children. She has a gentle, loving temperament and gets along with everyone, making her a joy to be around. Known for her playful nature, Daisey’s signature “smile” with her teeth always makes us laugh.
With her stocky build, blocky head, and wavy coat, Daisey is as stunning as she is sweet. As an amazing mom, she cares deeply for her puppies, and we can’t wait to watch them grow and thrive.
Dixie
Bernese Mountain Dog
Dixie enjoys life in a nearby guardian home, where she is adored by a family with four young children Known for her affectionate and gentle nature, Dixie thrives on being around people and is especially wonderful with children. Dixie’s calm and nurturing personality is always evident.
In addition to her sweet disposition, Dixie is an incredible mom to her puppies. She has consistently had large, healthy litters and loves her babies deeply. Her natural mothering instincts, paired with her devotion to her puppies, make her truly exceptional.

Farrah

Farrah is an extraordinary Bernese Mountain Dog and a cherished member of our breeding program. Champion-sired and genetically clear, she is a rare gem, making her highly sought after for both her impeccable lineage and her health. Farrah lives nearby in a wonderful guardian home, where she is surrounded by four small children and a couple of her sisters, who are also part of our program. She is incredibly gentle with the kids, always seeking affection and spreading joy. Whether she’s playing in the yard with her human family or cuddling up with her sisters, Farrah’s sweet and social nature shines through.

Hazel

Living on a farm in a loving guardian home near our Ohio home, Ibeza is known for her friendly nature and her affection for both adults and the children she lives with. The health health of our puppies is top priority, and she’s been thoroughly screened for breed-specific diseases, coming out clear on all. Additionally, Ibeza holds Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) certifications for her hips, eyes, and heart. We are incredibly proud to have a dog of Ibeza’s quality contributing to our breeding program.

Born from our own esteemed MJ who is son to our own AKC Champion Mr. and his mother Princess, who boast full genetic and OFA health clearances. Kassie inherits a strong foundation of health and vitality. With her striking confirmation and gentle nature, Kassie embodies the epitome of the Bernese Mountain Dog breed. With her genetic clarity and remarkable lineage, Kassie truly stands as a shining example of the breed's finest qualities and we are delighted to have her in our breeding program. Kassie resides in a guardian home just a couple miles away from our Ohio home. Her family has 4 small children under the age of 11 years old who enjoy helping take care of her.
Lucy
Bernese Mountain Dog
Lucy, our Pure Bred Bernese Mountain Dog, was imported from Russia and boasts some of the best lineage in the world. She traveled across the globe to join our breeding program, and she has proven to be worth every effort. Raised in our home, Lucy has completed all our training programs. She now splits her time between us and her guardian family, who adore her just as much as we do. We are fortunate that she resides just a couple of miles away from our home in Ohio so we are able to spent lots of time with her.
Lucy has undergone extensive health testing and is genetically clear of common diseases in the Bernese breed. She has also received OFA clearances for hips, elbows, patella, heart, and elbow. As a proven mother, Lucy's attentive and loving disposition has ensured that she has never lost a puppy. We are delighted to have her as an integral part of our breeding program.
