Eloise
Miniature Poodle
Eloise is one of our darling little Poodles here at Down Home Doodle. Weighing just about 14 pounds, she may be petite in size, but she has a very special presence in our program, especially with her beautiful chocolate coloring. We don’t yet have many chocolates in our program, but it’s something we’re thoughtfully working toward for the future, and Eloise is such a lovely part of that vision.
This sweet girl is absolutely darling. She adores people and has a naturally gentle, sensitive nature. Eloise is incredibly intuitive and soft-hearted, which makes her such a joy to be around. So far, she has proven to be a wonderful mama, attentive, nurturing, and calm with her puppies.
Eloise has completely clear genetics and has completed her OFA health testing as well, giving us confidence in both her structure and long-term health. She truly is a special little girl, and we’re so thankful to have her as part of our program.
Walker
Micro Bernedoodle
Walker is our handsome Micro Bernedoodle stud and the only son of Nash, carrying forward many of the traits we love most about his lineage. Weighing approximately 23 pounds, he has a compact, stocky build, an adorable teddy bear face, and the calm, affectionate personality that makes him such a joy to be around. Walker is gentle, easygoing, and loves spending time with people, making him a wonderful ambassador for our breeding program.
Walker has completed comprehensive genetic health testing along with his OFA and PennHIP evaluations, giving us confidence in the healthy foundation he passes on to his puppies. He also carries the chocolate gene, allowing him to produce beautiful chocolate puppies in future generations. We are excited to watch Walker continue Nash’s incredible legacy at Down Home Doodle.
These puppies are from a Poodle mom and a Bernedoodle dad and are considered traditional micro Bernedoodles. They are expected to mature between approximately 15–20 pounds. Our micros average around 17 pounds at adulthood.
They are anticipated to have soft-textured coats that range from straight to wavy at maturity. Rather than having a tight, curly coat, these puppies are bred for a more relaxed, plush texture while still maintaining low to non-shedding, allergy-friendly qualities. This gives you the best of both worlds, a soft, manageable coat without the high-maintenance curl.
